DYI spectrometer

Here is my attempt to make a cheap DIY spectrometer. Using a usb camera and a jewelry spectroscope. The white line on the right should not be there. I think there is a slit between the grating plate and the housing of the spectroscope. It is a cheap scope.
I bought it here.

Over exposure problem.

I finsihed the cape with the correct lens and filters. Testing today I notice I have over exposure on both cameras.
After long time thinking I realize I never tested the camera on a sunny day. Al test were on a cloudy day. So this cape is useless.
The problem is that both cameras are running on 5MHZ clock which is to slow for sunny days.
Running one camera on 10Mhz worked before. I’m going to run them both 25MHZ and that should work. But to do this I need to design a new board.
Shit happens.
